I Haven't Been Blogging Here

Have you noticed my blog posts have been sparse the last few months?  And by sparse I mean: non-existent. It's not that I have stopped writing, but that I've been blogging for Baba Budan's

Baba's a great little cafe operated by Tony Hamburg. His family's been been serving Cincinnati since 1921. They were overdue in establishing a good online presence,  so I've spent the last few months helping them down that road. I'll still be blogging for them as we move forward but hopefully I'll be able to spend more time  here as well.

The end of last year also marked my annual race to complete a photobook for Christmas. Every year I gather my family's digital photos from the entire year and put them together in a photobook. It's a great treat and creating it is lots of fun, but a ton of work. I promised myself this year will be different: I'll pull out all the good photos as I go so they'll be ready to plug in at year's end. Of course, I say that every year...

At the end of the year  I always make sure I spend extra time with family. It's great that my family comes in from out of town every year and we get to spend time with each other during long holidays. I do wish we could all get together more often. So, I shifted my focus to my family and away from publishing for a bit.

The good news is, I have been writing a lot. I just haven't edited and published anything yet. I have a number of articles I'm cleaning up and will be publishing soon.

How about you? How did you spend the end of your year last year? What are you doing to make this year better?
